You might not agree with the above line? Then read this. Google is not only a search engine today but it is synonym to word ‘search’.

Under Alphabet Inc. , Google has 150+ products to serve you. Some of them with which you might be unfamiliar are Google Think Insights, Panoramio, Zagat and Knowledge Graph.

But here I am going to talk about Google Web History. It is one of most beneficial service not for us but for Google. Using this, they record everything you do with Google products.

Google says, they record these data to serve you better and enhance your Google experience. But its really scary when someone records your personal searches, voice, location and interests. 

Google records your voice searches, text searches and tracks your location every time. So, the question is, how to see your web history and stop Google doing this. No need to worry at all, just follow the below steps  to keep your privacy a priority.

First step is to find search history, second is to find voice search history. Third step will tell you how to see your location history. In these three steps, you only have to find your history and see, in case you are curious to know what google actually recorded from the beginning of the time.

In the next three steps, you will have options to download your google history, delete and make changes in the settings.

Step 1 : Open myactivity.google.com/myactivity

Here you will be able to see your search history on Chrome, Google Search, Image Search and Ads.

Now you are on voice search history page. Here you can listen what you have searched on google using your voice till date, that may sound horrible.

 
Step 3: Go to google.com/maps/timeline?pb

Is your location setting on? then, ready to get surprised. Your every move is tracked and recorded here.

 
Step 4: Download your Google data

If you want to download the above data, it is easy and can be done in one click. 

Open takeout.google.com/settings/takeout and select data of which Google service you want to download. Then you have options, either send download link via email or import the data to Google drive, Dropbox and OneDrive. 

Next Select your preferences there, such as data size and file type and click “Create Archive“. Done

 
Step 5: Delete your Google History

This page will let you delete your Google history in one click. There are may options, easy to understand. Make your choice and delete.

Open myactivity.google.com/delete-activity for “delete your Google history page”.

 

Step 6: Control your Google Activities

Now, it’s time to take control of your google history. Here you can choose what you want Google to record, thanks Google for this feature. 

Visit myaccount.google.com/activitycontrols to make changes.
